On June 23rd, COME UNITY is holding our annual 6k Run/Walk and (all new) Family Fun Day! The 6k event will kick off at 9:30, followed by the .6k kiddie dash at 10:30. Racers and spectators can then enjoy the family fun celebration with music, food, raffle, bounce house, face painters, touch a fire truck, balloon twisters, vendor market and much more!
6 kilometers is the average distance that women in East Africa walk each day to collect water. COME UNITY is committed to changing that fact. We are going the distance so they won't have to anymore.
REGISTRATION: Registration is now open! All racers registered by June 1st will receive a race t-shirt, goody bag and tickets to the raffle and family fun day.
Adults $35 through June 1st. $40 thereafter.

Share the page via social media. As an added bonus, once you have raised the cost of your initial race payment (minus credit card fees), your race fee will be refunded.
AWARDS: Awards will be given (@ 10:45) to the fastest two men and women in each age group and the overall male and female winner of the race! There will also be an award given to the fastest stroller to cross the finish line.
SPECTATORS: Come cheer on your favorite racer, peruse the vendor market and enjoy all the kid friendly activities. Purchase tickets (for a nominal donation) that permit you to enjoy the fun.
SPONSORSHIP: Help make our race a success by offsetting event costs through sponsorship. There are various sponsorship levels available starting at $150. Ask about a vendor booth at our vendor market to promote your business or sell goody's. Promote your business as one that cares deeply about clean water, basic needs, education and sustainable local economies in East Africa. Email email@example.com to learn more.
OTHER DETAILS: The race will be professionally timed and take place on a monitored course through the Valley Creek Drive neighborhood. Not a serious runner? No problem! We have our share of serious racers, but we have a lot of people who care about people in need around the world and race to make a tangible difference in the world. Proceeds from this year's event go to providing clean water and sustainable economic opportunities to our partners in Kenya and Ethiopia. Run it, walk it, push a stroller - we're all changing the world together. Register today:
