About This Activity

The Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, a part of KentuckyOne Health, announces the 3rd Annual Yes, Mamm! 5K Race presented and hosted by the RJ Corman Railroad Group.

KentuckyOne Health believes in providing Wellness, Healing, and Hope for all, including the underserved.  That includes getting a mammogram. The Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation’s successful Yes, Mamm! program provides mammography screening and diagnostics for the underinsured.

This year, we are on pace to complete over 500 mammograms through the KentuckyOne Health Breast Care locations in Lexington, Kentucky (Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Hospital & KentuckyOne Health Imaging - Tates Creek) and at the Sandra J. Adams Digital Mammography Suite at Saint Joseph Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Our supporters rock!

The Yes, Mamm! program has been funded in part from The Susan G. Komen Lexington Affiliate, Lexington Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Education Trust, Lexus of Lexington, LBX Co., Inc. and many Foundations and generous individual donors.  But the need remains great!  Over 500 Kentucky women will lose their battle with breast cancer this year and the best way to improve this number is with early detection regardless of your ability to pay.

We are also proud to partner with the Kentucky CancerLink.

Since inception our Yes, Mamm! donors have SAVED LIVES helping over 1500 patient's.

Proceeds from the Yes, Mamm! 5K will offer additional support to accommodate the demand and help supplement funds to allow us to help more patients and their families.

Every dollar raised through the race will be used for Yes, Mamm! in Lexington and Nicholasville.

We anticipate 500 runners and walkers to participate for this worthy cause.  The course will be closed to the public and offers a safe and scenic opportunity for competitive runners as well as families and groups wishing to run/walk.

Yes, Mamm! Your registration and sponsorship is charitable to the fullest extent the law allows.
