About This Activity

Cat Tales, Inc. is hosting Stray Cat Strut, an inaugural 5K Run/1 Mile Family Walk this spring 2015
at beautiful Tyler State Park in Newtown, PA.

Cat Tales, Inc. is a 501(3)c, non-profit organization dedicated to finding responsible, loving, permanent homes for adoptable cats/kittens that were surrendered by their families, abandoned or found as strays.


  • advocate spay/neuter policies to reduce the number of unwanted kittens
  • focus our community service in the Bucks County area
  • rehome approximately 160 cats and kittens each year
  • have 65 volunteers who devote their time and effort without compensation
  • depend on donations to accomplish our mission 

The Stray Cat Strut is a fund-raising event to raise money to advance our goals. Before and after the race, you can learn about and meet adoptable pets from Cat Tales. You may even be lucky enough to find a new forever friend! 

Event details and schedule

Parking will be available in No. 1 Lane parking area. Registration will start at 8am. Please pick up your race packet information and t-shirt at the registration tables near the start of the run.

The 5K run will begin prompty at 9am and the 1K Family Walk at 9am. The Race will be held rain or shine. Please visit out website - for more information. There will be plenty of post-race refreshments for all runners and walkers. You may register on race day but the fee for the 5K increases to $30 after March 7th. Race t-shirts while supplies last so register early to make sure you receive a shirt.  (The design is really cool!) Size requests will be honored to the best of our ability but size may be substituted. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners of the 5K and to the top three male and female 5K finishers in each age group
