Newport Celebration Run

Pleased to announce the Newport Celebration Run is back after a 2-year hiatus. Joins us Monday, July 4th for a half marathon, 10k, 5k or kids fun run in beautiful Newport, Oregon.  Thanks to the support of NOAA's MOC-P all participants get a rare opportunity to run on the 1,300+ feet pier. Races start and finish in the beautiful under the iconic Yaquina Bay Bridge.

The race offers some of the most scenic views in Newport - the Pacific Ocean, Yaquina Bay, the iconic Yaquina Bay Bridge, Hatfield Marine Science Center, NOAA's 1,300+ feet pier and for the half marathoner's some sweet single-track trails!

The 10k & 5k course is flat, fast course perfect for a PR. The half marathon course on the other hand is a challenging course with approximate 1,500 ft of elevation gain. The half marathon is part paved roads & part trails. It begins with ~5.22 miles on pavement, followed by another ~5.28 miles of single-track trails then heads back to the  paved road for the final ~2.6 miles.

All races will be professionally chip timed using Race Result's technology.
