All race proceeds go to support animal rescue efforts in Delaware. To date, the event has raised more than $25,000 for local organizations to provide critical medical care, socialization, nurturing, food and fostering for animals rescued from numerous situations -- including unthinkable cruelty, hoarding and natural disasters.
Past beneficiaries include the Delaware SPCA; Senior Dog Haven & Hospice; 3 Palms Zoo; and Brandywine Valley SPCA.
This year, we're excited to announce a new location, Olan Thomas Park, where the course runs along the scenic White Clay Creek!
Sign up today to run or walk -- or donate to a very worthy cause using the button above. See you May 9! Until then, check out last year's photos to get into the spring of things!
Please note: While dogs are more than welcome at the event, for safety reasons, they are not permitted on the race course.
