Start time: 9:00 a.m. start. Race-day packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m.

Address: 424 Leonard St Brooklyn, NY

This NYCRUNS-produced event hit the streets running in 2012 and quickly became one of the most popular road races in Brooklyn.

Course: The one loop 3.1 course will take you on a tour of North Brooklyn’s hottest neighborhoods before returning you to the finish for a post-race vittles and awards. See course map below.

Time Limit: The official time limit is 1 hour.

5K Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners overall and the top 3 finishers in each ten year age group. The awards ceremony will begin no later than 10:30 a.m.

Packet Pickup: Pre-race TBD.  Race-day packet pickup will be available at the start line beginning at 7:30 AM.  We strongly encourage you to pick up your race materials in advance of race day to avoid lines.

Amenities: A great techie shirt will be the giveaway for this race and the usual great NYCRUNS post-race spread will greet you at the finish line. Bag check and toilets will be provided. Water will be available on the course.

Directions: Take the L  to Bedford Avenue or the G to Nassau St.  Please check MTA Trip Planner for up-to-date and detailed mass transit directions and Google Maps for driving directions. Parking is limited at all of our events; we strongly encourage you to use mass transit.

Cost: The cost of this race will be $35 through 5/10, $40 until the first packet pickup begins, and $50 thereafter. Under 18? Save $20, until race day.

The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies. Please see the policies page and the rules of competition for other pertinent information.

About St. Nicks Alliance: St. Nicks Alliance is a nonsectarian community development corporation founded in 1975 that is dedicated to keeping Northern Brooklyn sustainable for low-to moderate-income people by providing essential services and programs in five main areas – housing, elderly care, workforce and economic development, and youth and education – to over 9,000 community residents.  School Settlement Association (SSA), Brooklyn’s oldest settlement house, has served youth and families in Williamsburg and Greenpoint for generations. St. Nicks Alliance (St. Nicks) Youth and Education programs serve 2,500 children, youth, and family members annually in partnership with local public schools, housing developments, and St. Nicks’ strategic partner, SSA.  Our mission is to help young people of North Brooklyn become lifelong learners and thrive as adults.
