About This Activity
Event details and schedule
This NYCRUNS-produced event hit the streets running in 2012 and quickly became one of the most popular road races in Brooklyn.
Course: The one loop 3.1 course will take you on a tour of North Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods before returning you to the finish for a post-race vittles and awards. See course map here.
Time Limit: The official time limit is 1 hour.
5K Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners overall and the top 3 finishers in each ten year age group. The awards ceremony will begin no later than 10:15 a.m.
Packet Pickup:Pre-race packet pickup at the Brooklyn Running Company (222 Grand Street) on Friday May 6 from 2PM-8PM. Race-day packet pickup will be available at the start line beginning at 7:30 AM. We strongly encourage you to pick up your race materials in advance of race day to avoid lines.
Amenities: A great techie shirt will be the giveaway for this race and the usual great NYCRUNS post-race spread will greet you at the finish line. Bag check and toilets will be provided. Water will be available on the course.
Directions: Take the L to Bedford Avenue or the G to Nassau St. Please check MTA Trip Planner for up-to-date and detailed mass transit directions and Google Maps for driving directions. Parking is limited at all of our events; we strongly encourage you to use mass transit.
Cost: The cost of this race will be $35 through 4/10, $40 until the first packet pickup begins, and $50 thereafter. Under 18? Save $20, until race day. Race day registration will be available near the start/finish area.
