About This Activity
This is a unique race as the course covers both trail and road conditions. Following our well marked course manned with friendly and helpful volunteers, you will encounter varying terrain from pavement to nature trail to grass to gravel.
All proceeds benefit the New Oxford High School Bands.
Event details and schedule
Location: New Oxford High School Stadium, 130 Berlin Road, New Oxford, PA
Packet pick up and race day registration open @ 7:00am. Pre-registration is recommended. Race begins at 8:30am.
Awards: Top overall male and female finishers, top male and female Masters finishers plus 1st-3rd male and female age group: 10&under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Directions to New Oxford High School Stadium: Address is 130 Berlin Road, New Oxford, PA .
From east or west: Take Rt. 30 into New Oxford. At the traffic Circle, exit north onto Carlisle Street. Turn right onto Berlin Road. Destination will be on your left. Park in the high school lot. Looking at the front of the school, stadium is to your left. Registration and start/finish line will be in the stadium.
From north or south: Take Rt. 94 to Cross Keys. Head west on Rt. 30. Follow above directions.
Course: This is a non-certified course that has been measured to the best of our abilities with GPS and a meter wheel. Race will begin and end in the stadium and will follow the roads, driveways, fields, trails and track throughout the Conewago Valley School District campus. Terrain includes asphalt, grass, dirt trail, occasional loose gravel and track. If it rains, it will be muddy… please be prepared. Two water stations on course. Volunteers will be on course to direct and assist runners. Detailed description and photographs of the course are on our face Facebook page.
Walkers and baby-strollers are welcomed. Headphones are permitted but for safety reasons, please keep your volume turned down and be aware of other runners/walkers around you.
NOTE: CVSD is a tobacco and alcohol free campus. Pets are allowed on campus but not in any of the buildings.
Amenities: T-shirt guaranteed to all pre-registrants, refreshments and snacks for all participants. Indoor toilet facilities, free parking. Timing provided by South Penn Road Runners. Race held rain or shine. No refunds or mailed awards. Results will be posted on race web-site within 2-3 days.
