WWPis a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001. It operates as a nonprofit 501 organization. WWP's vision is to "foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history" as it works to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service members, help severely injured service members aid and assist each other and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. The Diabetic Kitchen:

Diabetes affects 8.3% of Americans. 27% of Americans do not know they have this disease. The mission of the American Diabetic Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of the people affected. The Diabetic Kitchen is a support & management group for people with Diabetes. This support group offers support to people and also teaches them to manage diabetes. A support group as the Diabetic Kitchen is an important key to help someone struggling with this disease. On May 24, 2012 the website was launched with their D & T (Dine & Talk) concept. They have monthly meetings, prepare a diabetic friendly meal and discuss their thoughts, ideas and concerns with others. The idea for The Diabetic Kitchen was the idea of Nathaniel Mitchell Sr., a type 2 Diabetic. When he was diagnosed he choose to rise up and use the disease as a tool to reach others suffering. It is one of the few hospitals in the United States affiliated with two major research based medical schools: The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, which is a part of the larger University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Baylor College of Medicine. For 2015, MD Anderson Cancer Center was ranked #1 for cancer care in the "Best Hospitals" survey published in U.S. News & World Report. MD Anderson is widely regarded as among the best cancer hospitals in the United States.

Your gift to MD Anderson Cancer Center will make a difference in the lives of cancer patients now and in the future by supporting innovative cancer patient care, research, education and prevention programs at one of the world's most outstanding comprehensive cancer lefts. National Autism Association:

Since 2003, the National Autism Association has created and implemented direct-assistance programs for the growing number of families affected by autism. Along with these services, NAA provides autism research funding, ongoing advocacy, support and education. Because we are a parent-led non-profit organization, our objectives and resources left on:

  • Strengthening autism families by providing support in areas of greatest need, such as safety, therapy and medical services
  • Providing our members and community with the latest information pertaining to research, education, legislation, safety, and therapy and treatment trends
  • Funding impactful research studies aimed at real progress for our children
  • Raising awareness about the autism epidemic

Although autism affects more children than any other childhood disorder, it is still the least funded. As awareness increases about autism, our hope is that resources will also increase. Until that time, we will continue to expand our programs so that we may provide support to as many autism families as possible. For more information please visit:
