About This Activity

Celebrate farmland preservation with Lancaster Farmland Trust when you "Ride Because She Can't" in Pedal to Preserve 2014. 

With distances of 6, 20, and 51 miles, these three leisure biking routes provide scenic views of more than 75 preserved farms in the heart of beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. For families, novice riders, and experienced cyclists, this event offers fun for all ages and abilities!

Pedal to Preserve 2014 is a leisure ride, not a race. Marked routes, SAG support, coffee, breakfast snacks, rest stops, and lunch are included in your registration. All proceeds benefit the Trust and farmland preservation.

Event schedule and times

Saturday, June 7, 2014

7 a.m. - Registration/Check-In

8 a.m. - 51 mile ride departs

9 a.m. - 20 mile ride departs

9:30 a.m. - 6 mile ride departs

If you wish to leave earlier than your designated ride time, you may do so! Please check in at registration first and then you may get on your way. All rides are leisure rides, not races.

PLEASE NOTE: You must depart within 30 minutes of your designated start time or we cannot guarantee water stops, SAG support, or lunch.

Sport drinks are not provided and you are encouraged to bring your own.
