About This Activity

New Britain Little League offers a fall season for players who are league age 4 – 15. The season runs from the end of August until the end of October and we offer Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, Transitional and Seniors divisions. - Our Coach Pitch division is open for those who are league age 4 – 6. They have one practice per week and one game on the weekends. There may be minimal travel involved to surrounding towns such as Plainville and Berlin. However, that has not been confirmed at this time. The vast majority of games will be played here in New Britain and the focus is on development & fundamentals. - Our Minors division is open to those who are league age 6* – 10 and is on a tryout basis. For those who are league age 6, you must have had played in Developmental Minors this past spring to be considered for the Minors division. This division will practice once or twice a week and will have two games on the weekend. Half of the scheduled games will be played in New Britain and the other half will be scheduled in surrounding towns, such as Berlin, Plainville, Southington, Farmington, and others. If your child played in the Minors division in the spring, they will be guaranteed a spot in the fall. - Our Majors division is open to those who are league age 9 – 11 and is on a tryout basis. The Majors division will practice once or twice a week and will have two games on the weekend. Half of the scheduled games will be played in New Britain and the other half will be scheduled in surrounding towns, such as Berlin, Plainville, Southington, Farmington, and others. If your child played in the Majors Division in the spring, they will be guaranteed a spot in the fall. If your child played in the Minors division in the spring and wishes to play in the Majors in the fall, they must try out. Try out dates will be announced at a later date. - Our Transitional division is open to those who are league age 12 and is meant for those players who are moving from the Minors or Majors to the larger diamond in the spring. In the fall, these players will get a head start on the large diamond and begin to learn the fundamentals of that field and the new rules that are in effect. The Transitional division will practice once or twice a week and will have two games on the weekend. Half of the scheduled games will be played in New Britain and the other half will be scheduled in surrounding towns, such as Berlin, Plainville, Southington, Farmington, and others. - Our Seniors division is open to those who are league age 13 - 15 and is for those who played in the Seniors division in the spring.
