Sat, Aug 2, 2014
New Albany, OH
About This Activity
Inspire the World Day is a yearly event that offers fitness, nutrition, motivation, inspiration and fun, all while benefitting local charities. We want to be a part of our community that creates positive energy, and brings people together to feel good and do good.
The day consists of over 20 different break out sessions, a keynote speaker, a healthy lunch, a pool party and much more. The day is organized around 7 themes, which the event founder, Julie Wilkes, wrote about in her book, The 7 Life Miracles. Each session will focus on inspiring participants using these themes of elevated and powerful living.
Participants can pick 6 rounds of 30 minute offerings, including crossfit, barre, bootcamp, kickboxing, yoga, drumstick workout, essential oils, massage techniques, inspirational messaging/goal-setting, self-defense classes, nutrition on the go, workouts you can take home for you and your dog, and much much more! There will be a fitness scavenger hunt, an inspirational speaker and live music! You'll leave feeling inspired, healthy, happy, with some new, cool friends and ready to take on the world with your super hero powers you develop by feeling this great!
The benefactors of this event this year are the:
1) Cancer Support Community Center of Central Ohio - Our financial contribution to CSCCC will provide free yoga, nutrition and healthy-living classes to cancer patients.
2) Mats for Paws - Bring your old exercise mat so we can donate it to a local dog shelter so the doggies have a warm place to lay while they wait for their forever home.
3) The Jane Juergen's Passionate Life Fund - to help support the dreams of one small business owner in the memory of one very special friend who was passionate about life.
4) Shawn Schulte Inspired Life Fund - Shawn, who is a member of Inspire the World Day, suffered a heart attack while running a charity race in mid July. We want to send him some good energy and help his recovery process.
