About This Activity

This is a wonderful way to enjoy the lovely fall foliage of the Natchez Trace, get some great exercise, AND help a worthy cause - the animals of the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society!

Event details and schedule

The event will start at and finish at the old train station on Broadway in downtown Natchez.  Parking is available at the train station.  The route goes through downtown to the Natchez Trace Parkway.  There are multiple distances available once on the Trace - shortest is 16 miles, longest is almost 60.  The Trace is a well-maintained route with some challenging hills scattered throughout.  It is a public thoroughfare so caution should be exercised.  Helmets are required.  Any other safety equipment is encouraged.  At the conclusion, a light lunch and refreshments will be served, along with door prizes, goody bags and a t-shirt for all participants.  The start will be at 8:30 AM, with packet pick up available the night before, or at that morning starting at 7:30.  SAG stations will be along the route but please bring anything you feel is necessary to have a great ride!
