About This Activity

The number one call for police officers in Nashville is domestic violence related.   Tennessee is ranked No. 6 in the nation of women murdered by their intimate partners.  Registering for this event will help improve the response to domestic violence in the local community and the entire state.  Your contribution means safety for victims and an increased opportunity of living free of violence.

Event details and schedule

Registration begins at 7:30, and the race-walk will begin at 8:30 at Shelter No. 11.  We will provide purple masks for runners and walkers.   You are also welcome to run or walk in a costume.

This is our first year for this event.  If you would like a t-shirt, email the President of the Nashville Coalition Against Domestic Violence, robinkimbrough@aol.com.  Please contact Robin for more information as well.   Please bring your families.   We are thrilled to have everyone participate.
