About This Activity
Join us for a scenic race on an early spring morning at Washington County Conservation Area. Run the path following the curves of the lake, and climb gentle hills while breathing in the fresh country air and enjoying the view of the woods and lake. Water stations are set-up along the way so you can stay hydrated as you maintain your pace. People are located along the route to cheer you on & guide you to the correct path. There are several race options. Choose the 7 mile route and take the last meandering mile through the woods. It is a rustic, unpaved path, so be prepared to be challenged as there may be mud on the path (depending upon the weather). There is also the paved 5K run or walk, and the Youth Fun Run (age 12 and under). Event participants also receive a free shirt, snacks, water, and a few surprises. For those of you who place (we have many categories) you can also win a medal or possibly more. This will be a timed race, timing provided by Toolen's Running Start.
