Skill Level / Age Breakdown!Welcome, to all Pickleball players that are interested in playing in the Atlantic South Region Pickleball Championships, which will be played at East Naples Community Park, 3500 Thomasson Drive, in Naples, Florida, on February 6, 7, 8, 2015.
The format will be Skill / With Age Breakdowns, we will be using the catagories 2.5/3.0, 3.5. 4.0, 4.5, 5.0. Referees will be used for only Semi Final and Final Matches. However you may request a referee at any time. This is the same in which the Huntsman World Senior Games, in St. George, Utah went to this year because of the burden of finding enough qualified or experienced referees, and it also helps to move along the tournament at a better pace.
Because of the Skill/Age Breakdown Format in adding the 70+ age group, and using refeeres for only Semi and Final Matches, what does that mean exactly to you? You will not be asked to referee games, and you can come and play and enjoy three days of Pickleball, and not having to worry about being called to referee.
