Join us for the 25th annual Fredonia 5 Miler, sponsored by the Nacogdoches Fredonia Rotary Club. The race runs past history, in the oldest town in Texas. The race begins and ends at the Old University Building on the historic Thomas J Rusk elementary campus and will run past such historic sites as Christ Church, the Stone Fort, ancient Indian mounds, First United Methodist Church and through the beautiful campus of Stephen F Austin State University. A 5 mile non-competitive walk will begin with the 5-mile race. Packet pickup will be from 5-7pm Friday May 23rd at 200 N Fredonia St Nacogdoches TX 75961.
T-shirts will be given to the first 150 entrants.
Entry Fee: $25 for the 5 miler. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers and top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in various age groups. This is a chip timed TAC sanctioned race and is on a certified course, TX 90015 ETM.
Packet pickup is 5-7 pm Friday May 23rd.
Race time is 8am Saturday May 24th.
