About This Activity
Join us at BDRC for a special 7 week program to help make you a faster and more efficient runner. This training group will focus on running your fastest mile time and putting some pop back in your legs. A lot of training programs primarily focus on getting you farther, we want to showcase the many benefits of working on your speed and how it can make you a better distance runner. The program will kick off Wednesday May 1st and end with our target event the 2019 Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile on Friday June 14th. The program will consist of a 7 week training program, 2 weekly coach led workouts (Wednesdays @6:30pm and Saturdays @7am) and discount code to the Mile race. It's not mandatory that all participants attend the Raleigh Mile, but we will have a large group making the road trip. We will also hold time trials every other week to track progress.
This training program is for those who currently are able to run 3-5 miles comfortably. We will primarily be focused on track workouts, tempo runs and a multitude of running form drills to make you faster and more efficient. Cost of the 7 week program is only $40 through March 27th, then increases to $50. Registration closes Sunday May 5th.
