About This Activity

The 12th Annual Onion River Century Ride

"Riding for Reading"

The Onion River Century Ride to benefit the Kellogg-Hubbard Library is a beautiful ride through the heart of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The ride takes you through one of the most scenic areas of Vermont, provides beautiful views and a fun and challenging ride. Riders can choose from the 110k (68 mile) Metric Century or full 111 mile Century or the 40 mile Cruiser.

Riding for Children's Literacy

All proceeds of the Onion River Century Ride, raffle, and pledge drive benefit children’s literacy at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. We try to inspire the love of reading and writing with our youngest patrons. More than any other skill the ability to read well allows a child to succeed in school, learn about the world around us and function well in our society. The Kellogg-Hubbard Library has the books, materials and programs to support children as they take their first steps as a life-long learner.
