Training Program - "Train Like You Mean It!" Triathlon Training Season is in Spring/Summer and 1/2 and Full Marathon Training in Fall/Winter.
About "Train Like You Mean It!" This program is designed to give you the tools to train and participate in a triathlon, 1/2 marathon, or full marathon. In a friendly, non-competitive environment, members receive weekly step by step online training schedule, monthly workshops, 3 weekly group workouts, unlimited coach support and mentor program. Coaches are USAT Level I certified.
The "Train Like You Mean It!" program is open to all levels of athletes. Whether you are new to the sport, want to get back in to training, are an experienced multi-sport athlete, want to jump start your fitness or just meet new friends, then join us! There is a place for everyone in this program.

Event details and schedule
Training for beginner to advance members wanting to complete a Sprint Distance Triathlon. If it's your first or your tenth you will learn proper swim, bike, and run technique as well as race day etiquette & strategy. This is a great way to introduce yourself to Triathlon or learn something new to help improve on past races. Kick-off & informational meeting 9/6/14 9:30am at the YMCA, attendance strongly encouraged.
