Hank Aaron State Trail 5K Run/Walk
Sat, Aug 9, 2014
About This Activity
Held each August, the Hank Aaron State Trail 5K Run/Walk is a wonderful way to enjoy and support the Trail.
Celebrate the 15th annual Run/Walk. For the first time, the course will wind through the newly opened Three Bridges Park!
The run/walk is always a lively family friendly event featuring music, a variety of refreshments including root beer floats, hamburgers, baked goods, fruits & veggies, prize drawings, a silent auction, a prize for every 44th finisher, and a great venue for groups and teams.
Funds raised from the run/walk support FOHAST free summer Bike Adventure Camps for youth ages 10 to 13 living in neighborhoods along the Trail, public art, wayfinding enhancements, and the placement of restored street car shelters for rest stops on the Trail.
