Why do we do it? Did you know the leading cause of death for girls 15-19 in Kenya is pregnancy?
All proceeds from the 10/8/16 Family Fest for Kenya will go to Operation Give Hope to support the orphanage and pregnancy crisis left in Kenya. This left provides shelter, food, education and healthcare, as well as much-needed counseling to pregnant girls.
Through proper education, Operation Give Hope reduces the number of abortions and baby abandonment that occurs each year along the coast of Kenya. Over 300,000 abortions occur in Kenya each year due to these problems. They also provide food and high-quality education in communities where children would die without this help. Operation Give Hope is able to do all this for $25 per month per child through U.S. sponsors. $0.98 of every $1 in sponsorship goes directly to the children!
All proceeds from this event go to the pregnancy crisis left to help girls who would have no help without it. Join us in making a huge difference in the world for kids that cannot do it without our help.
We can make an even bigger impact!! Bring your used shoes and your friends and families! We are collecting ANY kind of shoes. Boots, running, dress, kids, adults. Bring them in 33 gallon black bags.
If we can collect 25,000 lbs of shoes, Operation Give Hope will get a substantial grant.
