Our Redeemer Lutheran School will be hosting its 1st annual apple cORe 5K (and a 0.2K for kids and "not-so-serious runners") fun run September 27, 2014. The run will start and finish near The Landing in Hoyt Park. After exiting the parking lot, runners will travel  south on Swan Blvd.'s sidewalk and go off-road to the crushed gravel path that borders the reservoirs.  After one lap around the reservoir, runners will head back the way they came to end near the beer garden at Hoyt Park Pool. Thirsty runners will be able to grab some water or purchase a beer from The Landing after the run. Pint glasses with the race logo can be purchased for $5!!  Plan on attending our post-race festival and enjoy live music, a Patterson's caramel apple for every participant, and a silent auction for world class homemade apple pies.
