Paying Run/Walk participants will received Run T-Shirts, American Flag/Draw String Bags along with Timing Bibs for actuate times. Literature available from the American Legion and all event sponsors will be on display or given out at registration tables.
Water, refreshments, food staples will be available during registration, opening ceremony to Honor our Nation, Troops, Veterans and the Fallen Heroes before the Run along with after Run/Walk is finished at closing medal awards.
Run/Walk assembly area be held at the Borough Park Gazebo Area, next to American Legion Post 25 with a start time of 7:00am for "day of run" registrations, pre-registration check in, T-Shirt and Timing Bid distribution. Muster for event opening ceremony to be held at 8:00am / 8:15am. Parking available at the AL Post 25 parking lot next to park.
Run/Walk begins at 8:30am from start location at Milltown Borough Park, 1,000 LF from Gazebo
Directions for the route of the Run are attached on the following sheet. Milltown Police and EMS along with event volunteers will be available before, during and after the Run/Walk for assistance.
The route of this 5K is the same as FM5K - 2017 and the Knights of Columbus Milltown 4th of July 5K held every year on the 4th of July, before the Milltown Parade and Town Day @ Borough Park.
This route is certified by the Road Running Technical Council / USA Track and Field.
The top three finishers of each age group, male/female will receive 1st, 2nd or 3rd place American Legion - Follow Me 5K medallions. Also, we will award to the top 3 male and top 3 female times for the Run.
