Louis L. Redding Middle School has a tradition of community and togetherness - even from the days of its namesake.
This spring's event continues to do that with this Positive Behavior Support-designed event:
- Funds PBS support activities, lowering costs to students;
- Proceeds include a donation to Middletown Relay for Life;
- Snacks provided by Snyder's Produce - a local business;
- Sponsorship and goodies provided by New Castle County based groups and businesses.
When: Satruday, September 26th, 2015; Onsite registration and goodie pack pick-up starts at 8am; 5k starts at 9am.
Where: Silver Lake Park @ 200 E. Cochran Street, Middletown, DE. Pick-up and race-day registration begins at 8:00am at the pavilion.
Registration: $15 individual registration; $10 current Redding student registration. Available online (until September 24th @ noon) and paper. Paper registrations available at www.reddingms.org.
Awards: Top 3 male/female in 10 year age groups (13 and under overall, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+);
Top Redding Runner for 6th, 7th, 8th grades; Top 3 Walkers (honor system – must walk the whole time)
Amenities: Drawstring bag. Post-race snacks and beverages.
Additional Information: Funds raised benefit Louis L. Redding Middle School students through their Positive Behavior Support program and the Redding Knights Relay for Life Team.
Music and activities will be available entertainment. Strollers and partner running welcome.
