Zombie Run Infects New Town---Middleburgh, NY

Begin your escape at 5pm on October 15, 2016 at the Dr. Best House & Medical Museum.  

3rd Annual Zombie Run--plan your escape!!  Humans will be enjoying a scenic run with their health belt along with two flags.  Zombies will be hiding in and around the course attempting to take human's health flags.  All humans need to do is pass the survival line first-with at least one health flag!   An entire Festival with vendors, food and products will be for sale and an array of activities to be enjoyed by families directly following the event.  Over 1,000 people enjoyed this day last yaer--we welcome you to join the day's festival in our hometown! 

Event details and schedule

We will be having only one start time, 5pm.  

Zombies MUST be 16 the day of the event.

Human runners/walkers aged 6 and up.  If you are under the age of 16 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

Packet pickup begins at 3pm.  Plan to arrive at least 30 Minutes prior the start of the event, at least 1 hour if you are a zombie. Zombies should come in full costume.  Award will be given for Most Rotten Zombie.  Allow enough time for parking, check in, t-shirt & flag pick up.

You will need:

  • ID (parent or guardian to check in with you, if you're a minor)

  • Cash for food/drink.  

Be parepared for mud.  The event is rain or shine.


  • DO NOT flag-guard, hit, trip, tackle, push, grab, or intentionally harm another runner, walker OR Zombie. 
  • Zombies are not allowed to touch runners or walkers, just flags! Only take 1 flag per runner.  Zombies MAY NOT CHASE. 
  • OBEY course officials at all times. If you violate a rule, you will be removed from the event immediately without refund.

  • Stay on course. 

Spectators are free to watch.
