About This Activity

iAM ABLE FITNESSwill host their 1st Annual Run, Walk and Roll-athon on October 18,  2014 from 7am – 1:30 pm at the Miami Metro Zoo.  We are very excited to raise much needed funds to provide scholarships to those who cannot otherwise receive the instrumental service and specialized training that they need which is available only at iAM ABLE FITNESS.

iAM ABLE FITNESScame to life when an unexplainable tragedy struck Alfredo & Michelle Iglesias in December 2008 on what was the 3rd day of their honeymoon. Having gone for a swim in Mexico, Alfredo suffered a severe spinal cord injury bursting his C5 and compressing his C4 & C6 vertebras. In spite of their unexplainable accident, they pushed beyond all their sadness and opened a non-profit to help so many in need. iAM ABLE FITNESSoffers access to healthier living for the SCI community focused around an intense exercise based program. This training allows clients to have less skin issues, less bone density loss, better circulation and allows them to feel their best.

Your participation in the 1st Annual Run, Walk & Roll-athon will have a special impact on so many lives via your support and iAM ABLE FITNESS Paralysis Center. As a non-profit the main goal is to be able to provide financial sponsorship assistance for those in need, who could otherwise not afford to get the necessary care. Using the current knowledge, and support of numerous scientists and doctors, we hope to inspire many to not lose hope and focus on improving their recovery. Your participation is crucial in allowing those who feel less capable to be reassured they are important and that they can truly make a difference in their own lives with your help.
