About This Activity
We cordially invite you to participate in the 1st Annual Break the Silence on Sickle Cell Disease 5K/Fun Day. Presented by the Awareness2Cure Fundraising Project in observance of World Sickle Cell Day, in Memory of our fallen Warriors, and in Honor of our fighting Warriors, this event will raise money to assist the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia to Aid in State of the Art research to find a cure and to bring awareness about this disease to the Southeast Region.
Event details and schedule
The event will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 8:30 am in beautiful Downtown Metter, Georgia. This is a flat course 5K that begins at City Hall, 49 S. Rountree Street and goes through a residential neighborhood. The Course is professionally timed. There is plenty of free parking. There will be live music and a Blood Drive
POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for food, music, entertainment, kids zone, and fun for the whole family
Early Bird Registrations on or before 6/16/16- $30
Students(18 and Under)-$20
Group/Team of 5 or More Participants-$25/Person
THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS!!!
Please register by 5/25/16 to guarantee t-shirt and correct size.
ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS ON 6/16/16 at midnight
FINISHER'S MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS/FINISHERS
1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be given for Overall Male, Female and Masters (40+).
