About This Activity
A.T. Still University is hosting a fun 5K run and 1 mile fun walk to support our American Indian health professional students and future American Indian students. Proceeds will benefit our scholarship funds for American Indian students. ATSU is home to several graduate health professional degree programs including dentistry, medicine, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, and athletic training. Come learn more about ATSU by runnng or walking around our beautiful campus located on Baseline Road just west of Power Road.

Event details and schedule
Friday, Feb. 19th:
Online registration closes at 5pm
Packet pickup and in-person registration in the lobby of ATSU (5850 E. Still Circle, Mesa, AZ 85206) from Noon-6pm
Saturday, Feb. 20th:
Packet/t-shirt pickup from 6am-7:50am
Late Registration from 6am-7:30am
Food Trucks and Vendors from 7am-10am
Race/Walk Start at 8am
Awards for top 3 men and women at 8:45am
Raffle drawings (race bib #s) at 9am
5K course closes at 9:30am
Parking is available on the ATSU Campus (5850 E. Still Circle, Mesa, AZ). Please follow signs and/or parking directors. Please do NOT park in the YMCA's parking lot.
Real bathrooms are available and located on the first floor of the ATSU Campus building. Students will be on campus studying so we ask that participants not loiter in the building.
The 5K course is a double-loop on dirt and pavement around the ATSU campus - be prepared to have dusty shoes. Dogs and strollers are NOT allowed on the 5K course. There is NO water station on the course; please bring your own water. Water bottles will be provided at the finish line. A first aid team will be available on site.
The 1M fun walk is along the campus sidewalks. Strollers and well-behaved dogs are allowed on the 1M fun walk.
The top 3 women and top 3 men will receive placement medals for the 5K.
All runners will be entered in the raffle drawings (using their bib #s).
Post-run/walk refreshments and snacks will be available.
Queso Good food truck will offer breakfast items for purchase.

Who/What Benefits from the Event?
ATSU has proudly graduated more American Indian dentists then any other health professional university in the country. Our ATSU National Center for American Indians in Health Professionals (NCAIHP) strives to recruit and retain American Indian and Alaska Natives students into the health professions. Proceeds from the this event will directly benefit the future health care healers.
