About This Activity

Help Our Class Protect the White Rhinos This Earth Day!

Trellis Students are raising funds & awareness to help the White Rhino endangered species! Did you know there is only 1 Northern White Rhino male left in the world? Join us in a fun day for a great cause!

Bring the kids & friends and enjoy a 5K Walk On The Wild Side through the zoo, see 2 white rhinos, and learn more about how funds raised will help make a difference for this endangered species!

Spread the word - this project is organized and managed by our class at Trellis Community Learning Center. The students are learning the importance of their role in a global community, and that you can make a difference, regardless of age!

If you are able to help make a donation towards the class fundraising goal ($2,000) but are unable to attend the event, donations may be sent to Trellis Community Learning Center, 15 Columbia Road, Pembroke, MA 02359 ATT: Walk On The Wild Side. All proceeds will be given to the care of the 2 white rhinos the students will meet at the zoo, Thelma & Louise!
