Sprint: 500 meter open water swim - 11 mile bike (2 loops) - 5k run
My First Tri: 300 meter open water swim - 5.5 mile bike (1 loop) - 2mi run
The swim is an open water swim in a small, man-made lake and will be a wave start. The bike course is on nice urban roads, slightly hilly and fast. The run course is moderately hilly and aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile.
Sprint Open Wave
The open wave is intended for elite amateur athletes. To register for the open wave in the Sprint Distance, you should have been a top ten overall finisher or top 3 age group finisher in in a race of 400 or more athletes.
The Playtri King Tut Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase a one day permit for $12 or a $45 annual membership through online registration or at packet pick up.
All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyone's packet. If you are an annual USAT member and do not bring your member card to packet pick up, you must buy a $12 one day membership or a $45 annual membership.

Course Notes: The swim is in a small, man-made lake. NO SWIMMING IN LAKE ALLOWED PRIOR TO RACE DAY!!
The bike is on nice concrete urban roads. The course is slightly hilly but fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled with directional assistance.
The run course is moderately hilly. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile. Each aid station is equipped with water.
The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.
Packet Pick Up & Late Registration
Thursday, April 9th-April 10th 11:00am-7:00pm and Saturday April 11th from 9:00am-5:00pm all locations:
