About This Activity
L.O.T. 2540 provides a "Free" store, food pantry, shelter, education and occupational training for those in need or in transition in Rockingham County.
The L.O.T. Turkey Trot Run/Walk 5K takes place in historic downtown Mayodan, NC. The route begins and ends by the Elliott Duncan Memorial Park and winds through the beautiful avenues within the neighborhood. Please plan to arrive at the park between 07:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. to check-in and warm up, runners will start at 8:30 and walkers will start at 8:45.
The event is followed by a post race BBQ luncheon (all participants will receive a BBQ meal voucher - all others will be $6.00 per plate), bake sale and live music, all on location at Lot 2540 - 411 S. 2nd Avenue. (Just down the street from the race.) The festivities will begin around 11:30 a.m. Attendees may also check out the exciting goodies that are for sale in The LOT's thrift shoppe.
All proceeds from this event will go directly to L.O.T. 2540 in helping to provide for the needy families in our community.

Check-in / Last minute Registration / Packet pick-up begins at 7:30 a.m. (Elliott Duncan Memorial Park - 500 W. Main Street Mayodan, NC 27027)
Runners start at 8:30 a.m.
Walkers start at 8:45 a.m.
The course will weave through historic downtown Mayodan, beginning and ending in the vicinity of the park.
Post Race Festivities begin at approximately 11:30 a.m. at L.O.T. 2540 - 411 S. 2nd Avenue Mayodan, NC 27027
Participants need to bring their identification, race confirmation and cash/voucher for the BBQ luncheon and bake sale.
Registration fee includes your bib, timing chip (runners only), t-shirt, BBQ lunch voucher and any other goodies that we may collect for you.
Every participant MUST sign a waiver before participating in this event. You may print and sign the form on this page to bring with you at Check In or you can sign it when you arrive.
