Join the Marysville High School Class of 2017 as they put on their 4th annual Pi Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Runs presented by TP Logos! This year's event is NOT chip timed, but everyone gets a finisher's medal, a cool long-sleeve tech shirt (guaranteed only to those who register before 2/24/17), and (obviously) pie after the race!
No age group awards will be given out, but the first overall male and female finishers for each event (the 5K and 1-mile) will be given a gift card to a local pizza joint to go get their own pizza pie!
Shirts are guaranteed only to those who register on or before February 24, 2017. A very limited amount of extras will be ordered and available at packet pickup/race day on a first come, first served basis.
To be true to the day, we are running the race on actual Pi Day even though it's a Tuesday, rather than Pi Day observed to put it on a weekend. The 1-mile walk/run will start at 5:30 pm, and the 5K will start at 6:00 pm. The course might be changed slightly this year to accommodate for rush hour traffic, but the course will still start and end at the Marysville High School bus loop.
Money raised from the race will go to support activities for the MHS Class of 2017. Please also consider donating after you register to the Starting Line Youth Running Fund, which will give 100% of donations to local children to help make the race more affordable for them.
