About This Activity

Gear Up and Ride with Us!

This ride benefits over 17,000 athletes of Special Olympics Northern CA and is being organized by local law enforcement who are volunteering their time to help raise money for our athletes.  Because of events like Bike the Bridges, Special Olympics Northern CA can provide year-round athletic training and competition to children & adults with intellectual disabilities at no cost to them or their families.

Riders have the choice of a 25 mile, 50K (29 mi), 100K (62 mile) or Century (100 mile) ride. The rides start and end at Waterfront Park in Martinez, with all courses taking the riders across the scenic Carquinez Bridge and the Benicia-Martinez Bridge.  For those that choose to ride on a 50K course or further, you have a shot at being the King or Queen of the Mountain.

Our Brew Fest is bigger and better than ever!

Event details and schedule

Please note, all riders under the age of 18 must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.

Support personnel and refueling stations will be available along the way as well as a SAG vehicle driving the routes to assist, support, and encourage cyclists.
A BBQ lunch hosted by 96H Brand Catering will be provided to all riders. Guest lunch tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 each. New this year - Riders will recieve a commemorative t-shirt with their registration fee.  Wear your shirt with pride, knowing that the funds you and others help raise will support the amazing Special Olympics athletes right in our local communities.

If you want to go the extra mile for our athletes - Active gives you the opportunity to set-up a fundraising page.  We encourage all riders to raise enough to support one athlete for a sports season = $125.
