About This Activity
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, with about 1 in 8 developing invasive breast cancer during their lifetime. The hard fact is that breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer in women. However, there is hope in the more than 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today.
Rachael Frinder Gagnon is a fighter, being a survivor of breast cancer. She’s lived through some of the darkest, hardest days of her life to overcome enormous odds. Her husband and children bring her much joy and comfort.
However, there is a new battle on Rachael’s horizon, an all too familiar one. Earlier this year, Rachael was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Her life since has been chronicled in her blog, with heart wrenching personal entries. Many have been touched, and many more want to help. Rachael’s Run was born from her families desire to raise awareness of breast cancer, but more so to show Rachael the love and support she has, as well as, provide hope.

All registration funds will be used help Rachael's medical bills, as well as, the non-profit Little Pink Houses of Hope.
