About This Activity

Diamond Valley Dash

Grab your shoes, your friends and family, and your smile and join us for a morning of fitness and friendship. This year Alpine County celebrates its 150th birthday. What better way to honor this special year than with an Inaugural 5K/10K Walk and Run event?

Proceeds from this event will benefit Ben Koepsell.  Ben is a young boy who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and has begun treatment for remission.  He will continue with treatment for the next couple years in order to beat this devastating disease.  Please Follow and Like Ben on Facebook (search Ben's Story) and then come out to support this wonderful cause.  T-shirts will be available to purchase for $15 (advance purchase at time of registration).

The course is a relatively flat out and back loop along Diamond Valley Road and will be closed to traffic during the event.  A continental style breakfast will be served after the event at the Woodfords Fire Station, located on this same road and a short stroll from the start line.

Advanced registration is $20 for the 5k distance and $30 for the 10k distance (prices go up May 1st).  Kids under 12 years of age can participate for free with a paid adult.   Strollers and non-motorized scooters are welcome.  Participants will receive a Finishers Medal and other goodies on the day of the event.  Watch your email after the race for a Virtual goodie bag that will include exclusive discounts at local businesses.
