About This Activity

Welcome to the 6th Annual 2017 Cupcake 5k! Join us for a 5:30 PM start time with a celebration of victory (and Memorial Day) with burgers, hot dogs coleslaw, baked beans, CUPCAKES and live DJ music to follow!
Cupcake station at mile 1 and 2... why wait to enjoy cupcakes AFTER the event when you can enjoy them on-course too!!

Also, we added a Run Virtual option (US Residents Only) for those who want the medal and rock the swag but can't be at the event!
This event is all about second chances, and celebrating our personal victories! This year you can still run in HONOR or in MEMORY of loved ones or friends and then dedicate it to them by writing their names on our dedication tags and wearing during your run!

Please note: This race sells out 2 weeks in advance every year! We are raising the field to accommodate more participants but don't delay. We will not allow any more participants once this event sells out.

Awards
The top 3 male and female finishers 18 and over will receive awards.
The top 3 male and female finishers 17 and under will receive awards
On-Site Registration
If the event does not sell out (which it will!), on-site registration will be available from 12PM - 5 PM at Roanoke Island Running Company.
Registration price day of event is $40.00 Cash Only!

Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up will be the day of the event from 12PM - 5PM at Roanoke Island Running Company.
**In the likelihood this event is sold out (which it will!), any packets not picked up 15 minutes before race's start time, will be resold to the waiting list, if any on site. **

Non-Participant Support Options
Family and friends coming out to support participants can still help contribute to the cause by purchasing meal tickets! Burgers, hotdogs, chips coleslaw and baked beans will be served during the post race party. Food is included in the participant registration but a meal ticket must be purchased for any family or friends not participating in the event.

Refund Policy
A Portion of the net proceeds go to local charities. All sales are final and no refunds will issued.
