About This Activity
The 10th Annual Twin Lakes Triathlon and 3rd Annual Duathlon is set for August 6, 2016 (first Saturday in August as usual). Both events are sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). This event supports the ongoing work of Twin Lakes Bible Camp. We had great success in 2015 with 142 entries and 120 volunteers from the Twin Lakes community. They help make this event run smoothly!
The sprint triathlon includes a .47 mile swim, a 12.4 mile bike on paved road around Twin Lakes, and a 3.1 mile run on the Twin Lakes paved trail. The sprint duathlon is offered for participants who are not ready or do not want to take part in the swim. The duathlon run (1.6 mile) will start at the same time as the first wave of the triathlon swim and the rest of the race is the same as the triathlon. Twin Lakes Bible Camp will provide refreshments after the race. Participants eat free. We hope you will join us for this fantastic event!
Event details and schedule
Check-in begins at 6 am in East Twin Lakes State Park near the transition area. The race starts at 7:30 am. After checking in, you may enter the transition area to set up your equipment. At the conclusion of the race, you will need to go back to the State Park to retrieve your equipment. Be assured that security personnel will be there for the duration (from 6 am until the last piece of equipment is removed). No one but numbered athletes may enter the transition area as to keep your equipment safe.

You may register at Twin Lakes Bible Camp by 7 pm on Friday, August 5, but the fee increases to $75 plus USAT membership ($115 for teams) and registrants will not receive a shirt.
