About This Activity
The 9th Annual Twin Lakes Triathlon and 2nd Annual Duathlon is set for August 1. This event supports the ongoing work of Twin Lakes Bible Camp. We had great success in 2014. Each year we have more participation and volunteers. The Twin Lakes community is so very supportive!
This year we are continuing the Duathlon race that will start with a 2.5km (1.6 mile) run instead of the swim. Participants who are not ready or do not want to swim can still take part in the race. Twin Lakes Christian Center will provide refreshments after the race. Participants eat free. We hope you will join us for this fantastic event!
Event details and schedule
Check-in begins at 6 am in East Twin Lakes State Park near the transition area. The race starts at 7:30 am. After checking in, you may enter the transition area to set up your equipment. At the conclusion of the race, you will need to go back to the State Park to retrieve your equipment. Be assured that security personnel will be there for the duration (from 6 am until the last piece of equipment is removed). No one but numbered athletes may enter the transition area as to keep your equipment safe.
