About This Activity

2016 Lion's Manor Fest 5K Fun Run/Walk  This 5K Fun Run/Walk is part of the annual Manor Fest Celebration held by the Lions Club of Manor, Texas the first weekend in October. This fund raising activity is to benefit the community, help provide scholarships for graduating high school students, and support Lion's Club charitable giving.  These charitable activities include eye care vision screening for children and providing eye glasses if needed. Lion's Club mission is to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

We are trying to re-establish 5K running in Manor after a long absence. Last year was our second effort. Please come out and join us for a great run! Packet pick up is race day. The October 1st event is at Manor Elementary School, which is just behind Manor High School, on the North side of Highway 290. Turn north on Gregg Manor Road and follow the signs. This intersection now has a traffic light. this is an 8:30am start and the course is through the Manor High School Campus and on a dead end road, Hill Lane. There if plenty of free parking near the race start. Restrooms are in the school. We plan to have free bananas, yogurt, and water. There will be a medal for the first place overall adult winner, male and female registrant. Group registration also applies to families. Active military can run free with race day sign up. Thanks.
