About This Activity
A fun group of young, energetic and dedicated citizens is proud to announce its 7th annual community fund-raising event. The Manchester Area Friends in Action's goal is to sponsor local events and raise money to directly support activities, clubs and causes for the children in and around Manchester.
In that spirit, the group is excited to announce the 7th annual "Run Manchester," which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2nd. "Run Manchester" will feature 10k, 5k, and 1-mile fun-run events, and is open to everyone! Run, jog or walk--or even roll--your way to the finish line and be a part of our tradition starting Aug. 2, 2014. Prizes will be awarded in each age category.
Everyone is welcome to run into history by joining "Run Manchester" event. Are you an experienced runner, an avid walker, or do you simply enjoy fresh air? "Run Manchester" is just for you. The race will take participants through historic downtown Manchester, through the quaint village streets and highlight the community's beautiful schools and parks!
Be sure to save the date and invite family and friends to join you for a fun-filled day in Manchester, beginning with the morning "Run Manchester" and sharing in the day long Manchester Street Festival, which will follow the race and run well into the evening. Make this a FUN day to be in Manchester!
