6-8pm pre-registration & T-shirt pick-up at the Old Causeway Inn

Saturday Sept: 27th:

8:30      Walk-Up Registration

9:00      Music & Walk warm-up

9:30      National Anthem: Hadley Magaziner

              Opening Festivities

10:00     SRHS Marching Band & ROTC, Harper Peliah leads the Walk

10:20     Last wave of walkers to leave the OLD CAUSEWAY INN

11:15     Refreshments at the Ship Bottom Waterfront Park               

12:30     Last bus departs the Ship Bottom Waterfront Park

Buses run in a continuous loop from satellite parking.

(The Ship Bottom Park boat ramp operations will be in effect: no parking in the parking lot. Side street parking only)

The Walk begins at the Old Causeway Inn Restaurant in Manahawkin ends at the Waterfront Park in Ship Bottom.

Total mileage is 3.1miles. Total Bridge distance=2.1miles

Most walkers finish the walk in 50 minutes, with a few stops for photos at the top of the main span and a quick water stop.


As always, a BIG thank you to Stafford Township Police Department and Ship Bottom Police Department for providing our road detail. No bikes, wagons, scooters or skateboards will be permitted. For your safety and those around you, please do not stray from the coned walk area. Dogs are welcome, but will not be permitted on the school buses.

Plan transport them in your own vehicles pre&post Walk.
