The run will kick off at the Capitol Square in downtown Madison at 10:30am on Sunday, October 15th.
To sign up, take the following steps:
Decide whether you want to run as aPumpkin, aBlack Cator Witch.
STEP #2: Select your costume.
We’ll help! If you register as a Pumpkin, you’ll receive anorangeT-shirtand a green beanie hat.Witches get a purpleT-shirt and a witch hat, and Black Cats get ablackT-shirt and cat ears. All T-shirts are long-sleeved for fall and winter running. Feel free to add your own style and bling to your corresponding costume!
STEP #3: Run or walk the 5K
Have a good time!
Registration and packet pickup will start at 9:00am on race day around the Capitol Square on N Carroll St. The race starts at 10:30am! The race will finish in time for you to catch the Packers game at one of your favorite downtown restaurants or bars!
The run will feature 3 trick or treat stations for kids and adults to collect sweets and other goodies along the route. Spooky Halloween music will be played throughout the route to encourage our runners and walkers to move a little faster!
Although there won’t be timing at this run, awards will be given to the first Pumpkin, Witch, and Black Cat to cross the finish line.
Jogging strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome and should start at the back of the race.
You must be signed up by September 31st in order to be guaranteed a T-shirt in the style and size you select. Registrations received after September 31st can neither be guaranteed a T-shirt nor a particular style or size.

Why Trick or Trot alone? We encourage groups of friends, family member, sports teams, students, and businesses to form teams to increase the fun for everyone. As an incentive, Groups and Teams of 10 or more people qualify for a discounted registration rate. Click on the Groups/Team button to the left to set up or join your team. The more the scarier!
