About This Activity

The 2nd annual Repeal Day 5k course winds around the beautiful Bay Creek neighborhood, beginning and ending at VFW Post 1318. This is an excellent course for any runner looking to get that winter run in! The Repeal Day 5k raises money for VFW charities including Badger Honor Flight, while celebrating the repeal of prohibition! Winners can expect giant 40 oz cans of PBR as their [drinkable] reward, and all participants receive a Repeal Day 5k glass.
Each registrant will also receive a drink ticket to cash in after the race. If you are over 21 we recommend choosing beer to honor the ratification of the 21st Amendment on December 5th, 1933, once again allowing the sale of alcohol in these great United States.

Walkers not wishing to complete the entire 5k course have the option to cut the course early and complete the 3k distance instead. You can decide at the split in the course how far you would like to keep going.
Our suggestion: Dress warmly and evaluate your chances for frostbite at the split.

After the race, join us in the evening for a 1933 theme party at the VFW!

$20 Early registration for the race lasts until November 6th.
$20 for a pint glass, beer and race memories that will last a lifetime? How can you go wrong?!

Sunny days or snowy skies, the run will go on!
