Out Run Asthma! A 5K Charity Run/Walk for Asthma Awareness
Sat, Aug 15, 2015
Running-5K - Individual
Walking-5K - Individual
About This Activity
The mission of the Out Run Asthma 5K is to raise community awareness about asthma and promote local education opportunities.
The chip timed race takes place on the beautiful UW Madison Campus. The race begins and ends on the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path which runs along lake Mendota. The certified 5K route is flat and scenic, perfect for runners or walkers.
By the completion of this race we hope to raise enough money to fund Madison's local asthma camp: a one day asthma camp for elementary aged children to learn about their asthma, nutrition and exercise.
