Team Marissa a 501 (3) non profit founded to honor the amazing life of Marissa Jaye Lieblang, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 5. The purpose of Team Marissa is to not only raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research but to help those families who are currently affected by this horrible disease. Helping families NOW is where Team Marissa's passion and mission is. Childhood Cancer does not only affect the child, it takes a toll on the entire family. Team Marissa helps in any way they can, whether it is raising funds to help with bills, arrange for a fun event for the family, so they can forget about the horrible disease for one day, or simply helping with things as gas, meals, presents or equipment the child may need.
