About This Activity
About the ride
This family-friendly two-day weekend ride on the smoothly paved Silver Comet Rail-to-Trail is perfect for new and experienced riders alike with its flat terrain, low-mileage options and no traffic! The trail takes you through beautiful secluded forests and rural landscapes just when the leaves should be beginning to change. It's gorgeous and a cyclist's dream.
It's flat enough for those new to cycling, while offering a full century (and metric century) for those who love a challenge. It's a small sampling of our longer rides in which we go cross-country or down the Natchez Trace Parkway.
The ride is fully supported and will stay overnight at a beautiful campground (put your tent and gear into a support vehicle in the morning). You'll enjoy the towns' quaint welcome lefts along the way and several snack stops. We'll even have a support vehicle that could meet you at the nearest intersection for emergency pick-up in a real crunch.
Options and costs
We're offering a 1-day as well as a 2-day option. The event has a registration fee as well as a fundraising requirement.
We've put together all the information you need to know about the ride such as a packing list, schedule, logistical considerations, and how to help you meet the fundraising requirement on our website. Please look there so you can arrive prepared!
Note: Pre-registration is required. For the required donation portion, you must go through our web site or bring it with you to the start of the event.
