Not a Runner?
Not a problem! Come out and take a stroll around the beautiful lake and then enjoy the after party. Don't feel like walking around the lake? Hang out at the cantina and listen to the live bands, eat pizza and drink cold beer.
This run is ALL ABOUT THE FUN and will not be chip-timed. So enjoy the lovely lake scenery, the crazy camaraderie, and the delicious pizza on the course...then stick around for the after party with music and cold beer!
Want to be part of the action but don't want to run or walk the 5K? Consider being a volunteer. In addition to the satisfaction of helping others and supporting the Epilepsy Foundation Texas-West Texas, all race day volunteers will receive a volunteer technical shirt and a pass for beer and food at the after party.
If you are interested in volunteering, contact Micah Marble by calling 806-725-4031 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
The Epilepsy Foundation Texas-West Texas
The Epilepsy Foundation Texas- West Texas relies on the support of the community to provide services to children and adults struggling with the heartbreak of seizures. Your participation aids in providing medical care and prescription assistance to uninsured adults, pro bono legal services, and activity/ support groups. Furthermore, seizure recognition and first aid education are made available in area schools and community organizations. In addition, more than 40 children and teens diagnosed with epilepsy from the West Texas region are able to attend one of the Foundation's week-long summer camps provided to families coping with the expensive medical condition. All programs and services are offered at NO COST to our families.
