This class is intended for First Time or Experienced Triathletes interested in learning about & improving their 70.3 & 140.6 Ironman Distance Triathlon skills & chances for success
9 hours of class room & in water instruction over a 4-week period, topics discussed will include SMART Goal Setting/Race Selection Strategies; use of Training Peaks; De-Coding Training Plans; Bike Safety; Bike Maintenance & Simple Repairs; Fixing a Flat; Optimum Riding Efficiency; Run Training; Run/Walk Strategy Specific to Long Distance Triathlon; Strength Training; Pre-, In- & Post-race Nutrition; 1 Hour of In-Water Swim Work + 1 Hour Dry Land Swim Specific Work; Open Water Swim Survival Strategies; the Value & Importance of Sleep, Rest & Recovery; Hands Only CPR
