Shane’s Inspiration, recognized as the world’s leader in Inclusive Playgrounds and Programs hosts their 18th Annual 5k/10k Trail Run / Walk & Roll  in Griffith Park on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Hundreds of inspirational children in Los Angeles (many using wheelchairs or walking aids) lead teams on a Walk & Roll around Griffith Park to prove that kids with disabilities can do. Registration begins at 7:00am. Trail Run begins at 7:30am. Opening Ceremony begins at 8:30am. Walk & Roll begins at 9:00am. Event ends by noon.
There is no registration fee to participate in the Walk & Roll. There is a $35/$40 registration fee to participate in the 5k/10k Trail Run. To register as a Runner, please go to to sign-up.
Shane's Inspiration is an international non-profit based in Sherman Oaks. Their mission is to foster social inclusion for children with disabilities through the vehicle of inclusive playgrounds and programs. To date, they have opened 57 inclusive playgrounds around the globe. Their education and community outreach programs have impacted the lives of over 35,000 children and their families. As members of the Clinton Global Initiative, Shane's Inspiration has partnered with Landscape Structures Inc. and Too Small To Fail to promote literacy through PLAY!
